Won over course and distance off a 5lbs higher mark last year. Won on third start after break in 2020 and campaigned in similair vein with two spins on all-weather to sharpen him up.
Saluti won over course and distance last August and connections look like they have targeted the track again. Not a regular on the all-weather since moving to Paul Midgley, the 7-year-old has run twice on the Tapeta at Newcastle, without disgracing himself. Having one on his third run after a break last season, it seems a similair schedule has been employed.
Saulti’s win at Beverley last year was in a good time for the grade and he returns off a 5lbs lower mark. The draw hasn’t been as kind this time but it is possible to win from stall 8 and he looks laid out of this.
