Beverley Bullet Tip: Final Venture
Record in this race is 42 but benefits from the lowest draw he's had in the last three renewals. Ran a fine second at York after a short-break and this takes about the same time to cover.
Final Venture has finished fourth and second in the last two renewals of the Beverley Bullet, never beaten more than a length and from stalls nine and seven respectively. A low draw is favourable at the Yorkshire track and stall five could make the difference.
The 6-year-old is in excellent form and returned from a 64-day break to finish a fine second at York over 5f89y. That is an excellent prep because it takes around 62s to cover, the same time as the stiffer bare 5f at Beverley. He doesn’t have the 3lbs penalty he had to carry last year and should be thereabouts.
