Bath Tips: Captain Ryan
Terrific course record and ran well at the back-end of last year on the all-weather.
Five of Captain Ryan’s six career wins have come at Bath Racecourse and he’s back at his favourite venue for his seasonal reappearance.
Equally effective over 5f or 5/5f, connections had two races to aim at on Monday both off a favourable mark of 60.
Captain Ryan returns after a 157-day layoff but he shaped well when last seen on the all-weather beaten 3.25 lengths from a bad draw and before that he won in nice fashion for today’s rider Josephine Gordon.
With conditions to suit at his favourite track he can make it win number six at Bath.
