Bath Tip: Upavon
Ran about as well as expected in a seller, finishing in a reasonable time. Is 5/9 in class 5 contests and will enjoy the fast underfoot conditions.
On the face of it finishing second in a seller doesn’t appear great form but Upavon ran as well as could be expected. Racing off level weights with a horse rated 13lbs his superior, he finished where he should. He was the second fastest closer and ran an adjusted speed figure of 53.
The 9-year-old should be more comfortable back in a handicap and he is 5/9 in class 5 contests. Fast underfoot conditions are in his favour and he looks ready to capitlise off a career low mark.
