WGC Bridgestone Invitational Tips: Scott Piercy

Finished T12-3-1 on his last three starts, making him the form player on the PGA Tour.

Scott Piercy is one of the form players in the United States right now and his odds of 100/1 (Betfred) are a mockery. On his last three starts, he has finished T12-3-1; a string of results that has propelled him to 13th in the FedExCup Standings.

Bookmakers will argue this hot run must come to an end soon but I’m not convinced. After winning the Reno-Taho Open last year he finished T26 the following week at the PGA Championship, his best result in a major.

The 33-year-old from Las Vegas has 11 top-25 finishes this season, which suggests his sudden burst of form isn’t unexpected. With confidence riding high he has nothing to lose at the WGC Bridgestone this week.

At 100/1 (Betfred) he could spring a surprise and is worth backing each-way with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
