Wells Fargo Tips: Brad Fritsch

titleist.com

Fits the winning trends of the last five years and worth a punt at the price.

The Wells Fargo Championship has such a strong set of trends that anyone who fits them must be considered, especially when they are 300/1 (Coral).

Brad Fritsch might look like a journeyman pro but he’s making a decent fist of his first year on the PGA Tour. The highlight of his season is a T9 at the Farmers Insurance but he’s been consistent all year, making 9/13 cuts.

Even last week’s MC was full of positives, Fritsch got himself to six-under on Thursday before he imploded after missing a 4ft birdie putt.

Ranked 23rd for driving distance and 29th for birdie average he has the game to compete at Quail Hollow; whether he has the bottle is a different matter. However at 300/1 (Coral) he is worth the risk because with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish, he doesn’t need to win for it to be a big payday.
