Matt Jones is enjoying a fine 2013, after a couple of difficult years on tour. The 32-year-old has missed only two cuts and has posted six top-30 finishes in just eleven starts.
Whilst on top form, it is a good time to back him at his favourite tournament of the year. In his last two visits to Quail Hollow, the Australian has finished T7-T21. The results were particularly impressive in context to his overall form. They were amongst the biggest cheques he banked in 2010 & 2011, when he was struggling with his game.
Quail Hollow has rescued many mediocre seasons for Matt Jones but now he’s playing well it could elevate him into the winners circle. At 125/1 (Paddy Power) he looks a decent each-way bet with ¼ odds for a top-6 finish.
