Turkish Airlines Open Betting

The Turkish Airlines Open is a new tournament on the European Tour and it has attracted an excellent field.

Receiving a reported $1.5million appearance fee, Tiger Woods is the star name in Turkey this week. The world number one heads the betting at 5/1 (BetVictor) but he faces a stiff challenge from some of Europe’s best.

Henrik Stenson leads the Race to Dubai but is 17/1 (Boylesports) fourth favourite in the betting as his hot-streak is showing signs of cooling off.

Justin Rose won the 8-man Turkish Airlines World Golf Final on the same stretch of coastline last year. The Antalya Golf Club is not dissimilar to the Montgomerie Maxx Royal course used this week and the US Open champion is a best price 11/1 with Paddy Power.

The Turkish Open is the last opportunity for players ranked outside the top-60 in the Race to Dubai to secure their place in next week’s grand finale. Danny Willett is on the bubble in 60th position with the likes of Craig Lee (200/1 Betfred) and Garth Mulroy (150/1 Boylesports) just below the cut off line.
