Donald leads the heritage

Luke Donald is the halfway leader and 2/1 favourite to win at the Harbour Town course.

We could be watching a new world number 1 at the Heritage as Luke Donald carries a one shot lead into the weekend. A six-under par 65 means Donald leads by the slenderest of margins and is 2/1 to go on and win the tournament.

One shot behind is American Garrett Willis, yet to win on the PGA tour he is 20/1 to break his duck at the Harbour Town Course. The leaderboard starts to get packed two shots back with Jim Furyk, Jason Day, Camilo Villegas and Chad Campbell all within striking distance.

It was also a good day for Ian Poulter as his round of five-under propelled him to seventh place, only three shots off Donald. He is a best price 16/1 to spoil his compatriot’s party.
