The Greenbrier Classic Tips: Jim Herman

Made the cut in his last four tournaments, with two top-20 finishes. Shot a 67 at The Greenbrier Classic in 2011.

With limited playing privileges on the PGA Tour, Jim Herman is making the most of his opportunities and has found some good form in the last month.

Since the start of June, Herman has finished T15-T47-T67-T18. His hot streak might haves started on the Web.com Tour but he came through US Open qualifying to finish T67 at Merion and backed that up at the Travelers Championship.

If you take the US Open out of the equation, Herman has shot in the 60s in six of his last eight competitive rounds on the PGA Tour. That is an impressive feat for a golfer ranked 426th in the world.

The 35-year-old doesn’t have much course form to his name but he did shoot an opening round of 67 in the 2011 Greenbrier Classic so he has the ability to go low at the course.

At 250/1 (Paddy Power) he is worth the punt because with ¼ odds for a top-6 finish, he doesn’t need to win for us still to enjoy a big payday.
