Third Time Lucky For Bourdy

Has five top-20 finishes in six starts. Ranked second for driving accuracy and fifth for GIRs last week in China.

There is a danger I follow him off a cliff but for the third week in a row I’m backing Gregory Bourdy.

The Championship at Laguna National has the weakest field of the three tournaments and although we pay for this with his price he looks certain to contend.

In his last six starts he has finished T16-T20-T29-T17-T18-T19 and if the putts drop he can win.

Last week in China, he missed only 13 greens but incurred maximum punishment, dropping 12 shots including two doubles and a triple-bogey.

From tee to green the Frenchman is in excellent shape and inspired by Levy’s win he looks a solid each-way bet at 28/1 (Bet365)
