Go Knutzon In Singapore
Experienced Asian Tour member enjoying an upturn in fortunes. Finished T13-T35 on his last two starts.
Nowadays Americans are popping up on tours all over the world with Jason Knutzon one of four US players who came through European Tour Q-School last year.
Unlike his compatriots, Knutzon has been plying his trade on foreign lands for several years. The 38-year-old is a two-time winner on the Asian Tour and although his last win was in 2007, he will be familiar with conditions in Singapore.
Knutzon’s recent results have been encouraging. He finished T13 at the Malaysian Open and T35 at the Indonesian Masters.
His game is about hitting fairways and greens and although he might lack the firepower of his rivals, he is the type of player who can sneak a top-5 finish with solid golf.
At 150/1 (William Hill) he is a fair each-way bet.
