South African Open Tips: Jorge Campillo
Found form towards the end of 2015 with a T6 in Portugal the highlight. Yet to miss a cut in three starts at South African Open.
Jorge Campillo is yet to win in 78 starts on the European Tour but he found some form towards the end of 2015 and could threaten a top-5 finish.
The Spaniard’s last five results read MC-T46-T6-T20-T41 and he was on for a runners-up spot at the Portugal Masters until he finished double bogey-bogey and fell into a tie for sixth.
Last year he finished T25 at Glendower and is yet to miss a cut at the South African Open in three visits.
A good putter and reasonably long off the tee the course should suit Campillo and he is a fair each-way bat at 100/1 (Betfred).
