Scottish Open Update

Lee Westwood enjoying links golf

It was a good day for scoring with over half the field under par. Lee Westwood and Mark Tullo are the early pace setters.

A seven under par round of 65 propelled Lee Westwood into a share of the lead after day one of the Scottish Open. The world number two, is 7/2 to win at Castle Stuart, the start of a big fortnight of golf. With the Open Championship starting next Thursday, Westwood was trimmed to 9/1 from 11/1 to win at Sandwich.

With round two already under way the likes of Graeme McDowell and Ernie Els have had fast starts to move to -6. Betting Bias tip Justin Rose is well placed at five under after three holes of his second round.
