Scottish Open Shoot Out

Monty Chases Open Spot

The tournament has been reduced to 54 holes. With 26 players within three shots of the lead, it should be an exciting Sunday.

Thankfully the weather abated and players were able to complete their second rounds. With the tournament reduced to 54 holes, a Sunday finish to the Scottish Open is entirely plausible.

Luke Donald and Peter Hanson were the big movers in the market, early on Sunday morning. The world number one recorded three birdies to move to -10, one shot off the lead. He is now 9/2 to win at Castle Stuart.  Hanson went one better and finished tied for the lead on -11 after an impressive inward nine. The Swede is now 5/1.

Graeme McDowell still heads the market at 7/2, with the advantage of having the day off on Saturday. With 26 players within three shots, do not be surprised if someone comes from out of the pack to win.

Justin Rose and Padraig Harrington are only three back and available at 40/1. Colin Montgomerie is also within striking distance at -8 and odds of 100/1 with Coral.
