Verdict:
A mainstay of the European side who made his debut way back in 1997. Much like Garcia, a frequent partner, his only weakness has been the singles. They are unbeaten in 7 matches together and therefore afford Olazabal another tried and tested option.
It’s not been a vintage year for the 39-year-old but it would be no surprise to see Westy come alive in the heat of battle again.
