RBC Heritage Tips: Chris Kirk

In tremendous form having shot in the 60s in 17 of his 31 completed rounds this year.

Having tipped Chris Kirk twice this season I remain convinced that he is a winner in waiting.

The 27-year-old has some terrific stars; he ranks 6th for strokes gained putting, 7th for birdie average and 7th for adjusted scoring average.

With five top-25 finishes in eight events, he’s capable of turning those stats into results. He also has a tour win win under his belt, the 2011 Viking Classic, so I don’t have any concerns over his temperament when in contention.

This season Chris Kirk has shot 17 rounds in the 60s from just eight starts. Whilst he is in such prolific form he must be backed each-way at 80/1 (BetVictor), with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
