AT&T National Tips: Jimmy Walker

Led at the halfway stage last year and enjoying his best season on tour.

Jimmy Walker was the halfway leader of the AT&T National last season and although he failed to close out the tournament, he looks better equipped to handle the pressure this time round.

The 34-year-old is enjoying a fine season, he lies 22nd in the FedExCup standings and made 15 consecutive cuts until he failed to make the weekend at the St. Jude Classic.

The big hitting American shouldn’t be judged too harshly on his recent dip in form because last season he turned up at Congressional after a T62-MC. Historically he’s not played the tournaments that precede the AT&T National particularly well.

Look at his overall form and the 66/1 available with BetVictor is simply too big for a player sat 11th in the PGA Tour ‘all-around ranking’. Back him each-way and get ¼ odds for a top-6 finish.
