PGA Tour Money List Tips: Dustin Johnson

Free from injury he enjoyed a fine second half of 2012. Could make a fast start to 2013 with victory at Pebble Beach.

After an injury hit season that didn’t really get started until June, Dustin Johnson did exceptionally well to finish 19th on the Money List last year

Victory in the St. Jude Classic means the big hitting American has won a tournament every year since his debut season in 2008. Considering one of the main Money List trends is winning on tour, Dustin Johnson looks a good fit.

Towards the end of 2012 there were signs that the 28-year-old was back to his best, as he finished in the top-10 of all four playoff events.

If he carries that form into 2013, he could win some big pots quite quickly. The AT&T National at Pebble Beach in February is one of Johnson’s favourite tournaments having finished T7-1-1-T55-T5 in his last five visits.

With over $1.1million to the winner, Dustin Johnson could make a fast start in his pursuit of the Money List and make 18/1 (Skybet) look very big.
