Louisiana Open: Paul Barjon

Finished T9 at this event in 2017 during a largely forgettable season. Returns a better player; a multiple winner on PGA Tour Canada and runner-up three times on Korn Ferry Tour in 2020.

The Louisiana Open is one of the original events on the Korn Ferry Tour and is played annually (bar pandemics) at Le Triomphe Golf and Country Club. Throw back to 2017 and Paul Barjon finished T9 at this event during a season where he completely flamed out making only 4 cuts in 20 starts.

He returns a much better player with two wins on the PGA Tour Canada and three second place finishes on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2020. The Frenchman hasn’t enjoyed many opportunities this season, like most of his contemporaries but he finished T43 at the Suncoast Classic and T58 in the Puerto Rico Open, where his status enabled him to get a start on an alternate PGA Tour event.

He’s got the ability to win at this level and considering he is the fifth highest ranked player in the event, deserves to be shorter in the betting.
