The Will To Win

The Will To Win

Will Wilcox fits the trends of past winners and is a huge price for someone sixth in the PGA Tour’s all-around ranking.

Will Wilcox missed the cut on his first start at TPC Deere Run last year but his stats are so persuasive he simply must be backed at 150/1.

Not only does Wilcox fit the same trends as the last five winners but his numbers are fantastic.

The 29-year-old is sixth in the PGA Tour’s all-around ranking, which is higher than Dustin Johnson and Bubba Watson and only two places below Jordan Spieth!

As usual, statistics don’t tell the whole story. Wilcox has missed his last two cuts and has only 11 starts on the PGA Tour this season due to his limited status.

However, in those limited starts he has bagged five top-25 finishes and managed a T12 at the St. Jude Classic just under a month ago.

Eventually good play will be rewarded by good results and the John Deere Classic looks ideal for him. Odds of 150/1 (Skybet) are so generous that I make him a rare two point each-way bet.
