John Deere Classic Tips: Kevin Streelman

Averages 68.0 in ten rounds at TPC Deere Run and enjoying his best ever season on tour.

Kevin Streelman might have missed his last four cuts but that shouldn’t disguise what a fabulous 2013 he is enjoying. He recorded his maiden tour victory at Tampa Bay earlier in the year and has four further top-10 finishes.

Missed cuts at the Memorial and Travelers championships were down to one poor round, whilst a missed cut at the US Open is entirely forgivable.

What is more encouraging is his record at TPC Deere Run. In three visits, he has finished T8-MC-8 with an actual scoring average of 68.0.

Considering tournament favourites Steve Stricker and Zach Johnson average 65.75 and 66.94 respectively, there is no way Streelman should be 66/1 (Paddy Power). Back him each-way and get 1/4 odds for a top-5 finish.
