John Deere Classic Tips: Charley Hoffman
Finished no worse than T15 in his last two visits to Deere Run. Runner-up at the Travelers last month.
Runner-up at the Travelers three weeks ago, Charley Hoffman is enjoying a good run of form. The 35-year-old has finished in the top-25 in three of his last five tournaments and sits 28th in the PGA Tour’s all-around ranking.
A two-time winner on tour, Hoffman has also enjoyed some good results at the John Deere Classic. He finished T15 in 2009 and T7 in 2010 having skipped the tournament last year.
He’s a player in form who likes the course and at 45/1 (Bet365) that adds up to a decent bet. Back him each-way with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
