Hong Kong Open Tips: Thongchai Jaidee
Finished no worse than T19 in his last seven visits to Hong Kong.
Regarded as one of Asia’s greatest golfers, Thongchai Jaidee will be looking for a big performance in the Hong Kong Open.
The omens are good. In 10 starts at the Hong Kong Golf Club, Jaidee has finished in the top-20 eight times. The course suits him so well that he has finished no worse than T19 in the last seven years!
The 42-year-old arrives in Hong Kong on the back of a missed cut in Singapore but apart from that, his recent form has been good. In his last five tournaments he’s finished T15-T8-T16-T21-MC and is an aggregate 38-under par across those five events.
With his game in good shape and returning to a course he loves, 50/1 (Bet365) looks a great each-way bet with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
