European Open Tips: Scott Hend
Hits it a mile and is a good putter. Finished fourth last year and soft conditions play to his strengths.
Inclement weather in the build up to the Porsche European Open means the Golf Resort Bad Griesbach will play long and that favours the big hitters.

With pick, clean and place almost certain to be implemented the long hitters will have an advantage and the obvious place to start is Scott Hend.
The 43-year-old is one of the longest hitters on tour and ranks in the top-40 for driving distance and putting. A winner in Thailand earlier in the season his appetite hasn’t be satiated and he’s finished second and fourth in the European Masters and KLM Open recently.
A fourth place finish here last year bodes well and although he missed the cut last week in Italy a first round 68 suggests he hasn’t cooled off quite yet. At 30/1 (BetVictor) he is a solid each-way bet.
