KC Golf Classic Tip: Wyndham Clark

Missed his last three cuts but has been under-par through 36 holes twice and failed to make the weekend. Playing better than results suggest.

The nature of the Web.com Tour is that it is often played on relatively simple layouts that promote low scoring. That has been the case in the past few weeks where people have been under-par for two rounds but still missed the cut. In short you can play well and still miss the weekend. That has been the case for Wyndham Clark

Clark has missed his last three cuts but in two of them he’s shot 4-under and 5-under through 36 holes; it’s difficult to say he’s missed cuts by playing badly. As a result of this run, the bookmakers have pushed out his price but I firmly believe the 24-year-old is in the same form that saw him register five consecutive top-30 finishes.

One of the best young players on tour, Clark is pushing for a well deserved promotion to the PGA Tour and for that he probably only needs one more good result. For a player sixth in the all-around-ranking and ranked the same for putting average it could come these week in Kansas City.
