Dean & Deluca Invitational Tips: Sung Kang
Has finished no worse than T30 in his last five stroke play starts. Ranked 26th in adjusted scoring average.
Sung Kang finished a never nearer T20 last week but he continues a good run of form that has seen finishes of 2-11-6-30-20 in his last five stroke play events.
Last week he managed to score well despite being constantly out of position. Kang hit 46% of fairways and 56% of greens at the Byron Nelson, but fashioning a score when not on your ‘A’ game can be seen as a positive.
The 29-year-old is currently 26th on tour in adjusted scoring average and should be higher in the betting given his underlying numbers.
Last year he missed the cut at Colonial but he finished T37 in 2012 and is currently enjoying a purple patch of golf. Back Kang at 66/1 with Coral and get 7 places at 1/5 odds.
