Gallacher Ready To Strike
Has hit over 80% GIRs in his last three completed starts and game is much improved since changing coach.
Stephen Gallacher arrives in China under the radar with just two top-10s to his name all year.
However the Scot is starting to reap the benefits of changing coach and it won’t be long before his good play translates into results.
Gallacher finished T26 on his last start in Turkey but played much better than the result, hitting 80.6% of GIRs (ranked 2nd) over the four days.
It was a similar story in Portugal and at the Dunhill Links; two competitions where he finished in the top-20 but managed to hit over 80% of GIRs.
His record at Lake Malaren is modest, nothing better than a T36 last year, but tee-to-green his game is in excellent shape and if he can hole a few putts we could be on for a good pay-day at 80/1 (Betfred).
