Co-leader going into the final round last year this young Australian loves the course but is a forgotten man at 300/1.

The European Tour moves to Delhi for a co-sanctioned event with the Asian Tour. It’s not a star studded line up but from a betting persepctive it gives us a chance to go for a longshot that might be unknown to the bookmakers.

Last year there were seven players tied for the lead going into the final round one of whom is our selection Darren Beck. He finished with a disappointing 76 to tie for 23rd having never got going in his final round. This will be his fourth year on the Asian Tour having finished in the top 30 of the money list in every year. I expect this is the year he kicks on.

Beck proved he could mix it with the big guns when he tied for 21st at the Singapore Open, a result that would have been even better but for a poor inward nine. Nevertheless he showed plenty of skill to finish in a position that belied his world ranking.

This young Australian is a golfer on the up grade and at 300/1 with totesport he cannot go un-backed.
