Arnold Palmer Invitational: Matt Fitzpatrick
Is right at the top of his game and finished runner-up here in 2019. Driving is perhaps his biggest weakness but that isn't exposed at Bay Hill and the rest of his game is firing.
European golfers and particularly English ones have a good record at Bay Hill and Matt Fitzpatrick looks primed for a good run. His form on the PGA Tour has been superb with finishes of 12-6-10 whilst he has four top-15 finishes at Bay Hill from 7 appearances.
Statistically he is also a great fit for the course. He’s not the greatest of drivers (neither super long or straight) but that often doesn’t matter at Bay Hill; the rest of his game is firing. For approaches, putting and scoring he is ranked inside the top-15 on tour and he looks a winner in waiting. This is looks an obvious tournament.
