Air Capital Classic Tips: Trey Mullinax
Hugely talented and already a winner on tour the season. He can win again.
Trey Mullinax is currently sixth on the Web.com Tour money list but in my eyes he is the best player on tour and I expect him to finish the season as the money leader. With that comes full exemption on the PGA Tour so it is worth winning.
The 23-year-old has missed his last couple of cuts but they came on new courses and he is back in more familiar surrounds at the Air Capital Classic having finished T30 at Crestview CC last year.
Tee-to-green there is nothing to worry about – he still bombs his drivers into next week and hit 72% of GIRs in Nashville. If anything, he has just been fighting a cold putter for the past fortnight.
I expect normal service to resume and odds of 45/1 (Bet365) are a tad generous.
