Air Capital Classic Tips: Taylor Pendrith
Massive hitter who started the season strongly in Canada and has transferred his form to the Web.com Tour. T13 on last start.
Sebastian Cappelen came from virtually nowhere to win last year’s Air Capital Classic and Taylor Pendrith has a similar profile.
The 24-year-old qualified for the event by virtue of his top-25 finish at the Rust-Oleum Championship but he has been creating waves for a good few months now.
Pendrith started the season on the Mackenzie Tour Canada with finishes of T5-P2-T28, enough to earn an invite to the Web.com Tour.
The big weapon in Pendrith’s armoury is his length. At the Rust-Oleum Championship he led the field in driving distance, averaging 322-yards off the tee. That could be a big advantage at Crestview Country Club where previous big hitters like Sebastian Cappelen, Jhonattan Vegas and Scott Piercy have all enjoyed success.
This young Canadian has the ability to go right to the top of the game and quotes of 125/1 (Bet365) won’t be around for long.
