A Year In Numbers: 2012

It was a tough finish to the year but profits banked in the first half meant if you had staked £10 per point, you would have still made over £1,600 profit. We review our 2012 tipping year.

All our tips can be found in our archive section but to save you trawling through 12 months worth of tips here is a quick summary.

Tips: 1,223
Winners: 226
Strike Rate: 18.5%

Points Staked: 1,624
Profit: 161.5
Return on investment (ROI): 9.9%

That means if you had staked £10 per point on all our tips you would have made £1,615 profit.

Regular followers will have noted that the last four months of 2012 were particularly tough. Unfortunately, that is the nature of the beast, making money gambling was never meant to be easy and recent months provided a timely reminder of that fact.

Nevertheless, 161 points is still a fair profit which takes our grand total to 599.7 points in two years, or just shy of £6000 at £10 per point.

Despite the ups and down we hope we found you some winners along the way and that, at the very least, you enjoyed our analysis. A belated Happy New Year - we wish you all a profitable 2013.
