Alonso Hockenheim Miester

Alonso has won the last two races at Hockenheim and he can drag his Ferrari to a top-4 finish.

Nico Rosberg will be hoping for the same kind of good fortune in Germany that befell his teammate at Silverstone.

At the British GP, Lewis Hamilton benefitted from Rosberg’s first retirement of the season but given only four points separate the two in the standings I cannot fathom the difference in their prices.

In the ‘win’ market, Rosberg looks the better value bet at 2/1 (Skybet).

It’s still difficult to see anything other than a Mercedes victory therefore we have to play some of the sub-markets to find a bet.

Fernando Alonso hasn’t always had the quickest car in F1 but that hasn’t stopped him winning the last two races at Hockenheim.

A third victory in a row is probably beyond even his talents but he should be able to drag his Ferrari into the top-4.

The Spaniard has already achieved this feat four times this season and at 6/4 (BetVictor) he is a fair bet to record another top-4 at one of his favourite venues.
