Men's Wimbledon: Winner of 2nd Quarter Tip: Grigor Dimitrov

If he repeats his semi-final run of last year then we'll be in the money. Nobody tougher than Stan Wawrinka stands in his way.

The weakest section of the men’s draw is quarter two and Stan Wawrinka is well worth opposing as the 13/8 (Skybet) favourite in that market.

Yes he won the French Open three weeks ago, but success at Roland Garros has never been any guarantee of joy in SW19. The world number four has never been beyond the quarter-finals at Wimbledon and only enjoys at 57% win rate at the All-England Club - by far his worst Grand Slam record.

With Wawrinka opposable, Grigor Dimitrov looks like the value at best odds of 8/1 (Betfred) to win the second quarter.

The crowd-pleasing Bulgarian won Queen’s last year and then reached the semi-final of Wimbledon after knocking out defending champion Andy Murray.

The 24-year-old may be scratching around for form but he loves playing his tennis in London and could get back on track at a good price with a favourable draw.
