Hogging The Limelight
Scotland’s most exciting runner; unlucky to have a try chalked off against Wales.
In the last 20-minutes at the Millennium Stadium, Scotland finally flourished as an attacking force. It was too late to alter the result but it offered hope for the future. Greig Laidlaw ended his team’s try scoring drought and Stuart Hogg was unlucky to have a valid score of his own ruled out.
On his international debut, it was Hogg who impressed the most. A fast, jinking runner, the Glasgow full-back is one of Scotland’s most exciting young players. A stunning solo try for Scotland A against the England Saxons marked him out as something special.
In the starting line-up this weekend, if he displays the same level of ambition he could catch the French unaware. At 20/1 (Ladbrokes) he is good value to score the first try, with Ladbrokes refunding losing first tryscorer bets if the selection scores the second try of the game.
Six Nations Cashback – Ladbrokes
