France Take Huget Leap Forward

Scored two tries against England and has made four clean line-breaks this 6 Nations.

The 6 Nations returns after a brief hiatus but I expect the form of the first two matches will hold true.

Wales look jaded after an intense 18 months of rugby. They were below par when beating Italy and things got worse against Ireland. It was a comprehensive defeat and it’s difficult to see where Wales go from here.

The French arrive in Cardiff on an upwards curve, they have won both their matches and for 10 second-half minutes against Italy they were glorious.

Louis Picamoles and Yannick Nyanga are prolific ball carriers, punching holes for the likes of Wesley Fofana and Yoann Huget to exploit.

Huget scored a brace against England and the Toulouse winger was a constant threat against Italy.  The 26-year-old leads the tournament with four clean line breaks and averages an impressive 8.1m per carry.

At 12/1 he looks good value to score the first try on Friday night, back him each-way and get ¼ odds if he is amongst the first three try scorer.

Place the bet with Paddy Power and they will double the odds if he opens the try scoring and then goes on to score a second try.
