England 7/1 for World Cup after thumping All Blacks
New Zealand hadn't even lost a Test to a European nation on an autumn tour since November 2002.
England produced their biggest ever win over the All Blacks on Saturday afternoon as they ran out 38-21 victors in front of an elated Twickenham. Mighty New Zealand had only been beaten by a bigger margin once in their previous 498 Tests.
The world champions are still 6/4 (Sportingbet) favourites to win the next Rugby World Cup but Stuart Lancaster’s boys are 7/1 (StanJames) to repeat their 2003 heroics by lifting the trophy.
But that’s all still some way off. Before that England will be targeting the Six Nations’ title and they are a best price 5/2 (Ladbrokes) to claim that with a Grand Slam at 15/2 with WilliamHill.
France remain slight favourites at 9/4 (Ladbrokes) for the Championship and 7/1 (Sportingbet) for the Slam.
