York Tips: Pomme De Terre
Previous course and distance winner who returns off a similair mark and running well of late. Any rain increases his chances.
With rain forecast in the lead up to York’s Friday evening meeting conditions could be a deal softer than expected. If the rain materialises that will further strengthen the hand of Pomme De Terre.
A previous course and distance winner, he is only 1lbs higher than when scoring last June and this race is no harder. Third on his last two starts Pomme De Terre arrives in good form and with strong time figures to his name.
Paul Mulrennan has won twice and placed five times from 13 starts on the horse and the pair can team up to good effect again.
