York Tips: Easton Angel
Draw a line through her run at Newmarket and best to focus on her fine second behind Acapulco at Ascot.
Easton Angel was hugely disappointing when fourth in the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes but I stand by my assertion that she is a smart filly.
Nothing really went right for her at Newmarket, she was held-up on a day when the track favoured those on the pace and when she tried to make her run she found herself short of room.
Go back to her second place at Ascot and she has a huge chance. She was drawn on the oppose side to Acapulco and after beating everything around her, had nothing to race with.
She ran the fastest closing sectional and if she’d been drawn near Acapulco she might have won. This is is her chance of redemption.
