York: Korker

Easy winner at Thirsk and although didn't beat much; showed a tremendous turn of foot, his closing sectional was almost a second quicker than his rivals. Has run well at York before.

It wasn’t much of a race at Thirsk but Korker couldn’t have won his last race more impressively. He showed a tremendous turn of foot to accelerate away from the pack, covering the final 3f almost a second quicker than his rivals. This is clearly a much tougher assignment but Karl Burke young colt is quick.

This afternoon he steps up to 6f for the first time but his pedigree suggests this should be fine and York is a good fit for the horse. He ran a good race to finish second here on debut behind Project Dante and a speedy, flat track brings out his best.
