Yarmouth Tips: Tom Sawyer
Showed all his battling qualities to win at Beverley despite a contested lead. Could prove difficult to pass in a small field.
Tom Sawyer was a non-runner when we tipped him six days ago at Doncaster but our patience can be rewarded in the 6.00 Yarmouth.
Julie Camacho’s sprinter went into the notebook after his fine win at Beverley. He was taken on for the lead but showed his battling spirit to keep running to the line and win despite a finishing speed of 99.7%.
Fellow front-runner Majestic Manannan fell in a heap and trailed in last 18 lengths behind the winner.
Tom Sawyer can sustain a strong gallop and in a small field, he could prove difficult to pass.
