Yarmouth: Dream By Day
Powerful yard with a potential handicap blot. Ran in good novice races last season and kept bumping into some classy performers. This much easier and wouldn't need to improve much to take it.
The majority of the field in the 5.10 Yarmouth will need to improve on their juvenile form to justify their handicap marks but Dream By Day is the exception. Last year he was running solid races but kept bumping into future ‘100-rated’ horses in novice company; with the likes of Koy Koy and Bay Of Honour getting the better of him.
An opening handicap of 74 is more than fair and this is certainly much easier. His speed ratings suggest he is well handicapped and a drop back to 6f could also benefit giving Dream By Day had been pulling hard over 7f.
