Wolverhampton Tips: Tathqeef
Debutant but a very expensive purchase ($1.1m), holds Derby entry and with the right connections.
Paul Hanagan makes the journey from Newbury to Wolverhampton for one ride this evening and that could be instructive.
Tathqeef makes his debut in the 8.20 Wolverhampton but is obviously held in high regard. He cost $1.1m at the Keeneland sales and holds a Derby entry.
That doesn’t automatically mean he will be a superstar on the track but he’s in the right hands.
John Gosden has a 31% strike rate (14-41) with two-year-olds at Wolverhampton and with the opposition looking exposed he can win at evens (Stan James).
