Wolverhampton Tips: San Quentin

I’m surprised San Quentin is 7/1 (Skybet) to win the 8.40 Wolverhampton because he should run a big race and the clues are obvious.
Oisin Murphy is making the journey up from Newbury for just one ride this evening. Why would he bother for just a run of the mill 0-60 handicap?
San Quentin returned to form at Kempton a couple of starts back. He came out best on sectionals by 3l despite finishing fourth.
He made a big effort 3f out as he tried to quicken off a steady pace. Unfortunately he started too far back and the leaders had enough in reserve.
He finished second in Jersey 12 days ago and although the form doesn’t amount to much, it shows his well-being. Snap up the 7/1 because I can envisage a gamble on the horse.
