Wolverhampton Tips: Prigsnov Dancer

His short-head victory a fortnight ago is undervalued by the market. He was at least a couple of lengths better than the field having set an overly strong gallop.

Prigsnov Dancer is no world-beater but this five-time winner has enough about him to win at a low level on a semi-regular basis.

Last time out he hung on grimly to win by a short-head but the way the race unfolded he was value for a bit more.

The 9-year-old’s 2f finishing speed was 97.5% relative to his overall speed. It means he was tiring at the end of the race having gone out too hard. The par for 7f at Wolverhampton is nearer the 101% mark.

In the circumstances, he did well to win and the margin of victory doesn’t do him justice. He’ll almost certainly be under bet in the 6.45 Wolverhampton and having previously won at the trip he’s good value at 8/1 (Bet365).
