Pitched into a hot race on his last start but came out second best on sectionals. This looks much easier.
Off The Pulse walked into a hot race on his reappearance from a two-month break and can do better in the easier looking 6.40 contest.
Off The Pulse finished fourth on his last start, beaten 2.25 lengths but it was a decent performance considering the first two were unbeaten on Tapeta, with Dream Child winning again since.
John Mackie’s gelding actually came out second best on sectional ratings, running the final 2f in 23.1s, although it must be noted the track was riding on the quick side of standard.
Off The Pulse is a previous course and distance winner and has been successful in this grade for Graham Gibbons. Racing off his last winning mark, he is a fair bet at 3/1 (Paddy Power).
