Wolverhampton Tips: Moonshine Dancer
Run two good races including a rapid 21.57s closing sectional in a losing cause at Lingfield.
Moonshine Dancer has run good back-to-back races and should be losing her maiden tag in the 2.30 Wolverhampton.
Last time out at Lingfield she was beaten by a combination of pace and draw. From stall 7, Martin Harley took a pull and settled her in rear, unfortunately the leaders went a pedestrian gallop and a 4-length deficit was too much to make up into a quickening pace.
Moonshine Dancer still tried her best and despite finishing fourth clocked a very fast closing sectional of 21.57s; the 15th fastest at the track from the last 4,644.
The rapid final split was influenced by them going ludicrously slowly early on but it still takes a useful horse to dip under 22s. From a strong yard, there is every chance Moonshine Dancer is a good horse.
