Wolverhampton Tips: Methaaly
A step up in trip and a strong pace will help him turnaround the form with Outbid.
The 5.40 Wolverhampton is a low-grade contest but we’ll take our winners wherever we can get them and Methaaly looks ready to score again.
He’s got 2.75 lengths to make up on Outbid from a fortnight ago but the 11-year-old should comfortably turn around the form.
The step up in trip helps, twelve of his sixteen career victories have come at the trip.
Secondly, Outbid got the run of the race last time, sitting close to an even pace whilst Methaaly had to make up 8 lengths on the leaders turning for home. He was the fastest finisher in the straight gaining five lengths on the winner.
Methaaly’s running style means he needs a strong pace to aim at but in a low grade his finishing kick might win him the race regardless.
