Wolverhampton Tips: Logans Lad
Beaten by the draw on his last start but his finishing sectional (23.9s) suggests he is capable of winning in this grade.
Logans Lad was an unlucky third on his last course and distance start and down in grade he should go close in the 5.50 Wolverhampton.
The 4-year-old was scuppered by a wide draw 17 days ago. From stall 11 he was forced to race in rear and the even gallop meant he was left with too much ground to make up.
Logans Lad covered the final 2f in approximately 23.9s, bettered only by the winner Thataboy.
On paper, his main rival is Divine Call but Milton Bradley’s sprinter only seems capable of running around the 24.5s mark for the final two furlongs and that is unlikely to be good enough.
